About SWC

Sapphic Writers Circle is a welcoming and encouraging community for sapphic writers based in Austin, TX. Our free weekly meetings create a low-key environment to talk about writing, share creative encouragement, and build meaningful friendships.

We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for all those who identify as sapphic, regardless of their specific gender identity or sexual orientation. Additionally, we ensure there is no economic barrier to entry: our regular weekly meetings are and will always be 100% free to attend.

Writers at every stage of their craft, from those just starting out to those with published work, are welcome at Sapphic Writers Circle. We have poets, novelists, essayists, screenwriters, and celebrate all forms of creative expression!
